The Greater Morristown YMCA was founded in 1874 as the Morristown YMCA.  We have been providing a safe, nurturing child care center to the Morris County area since October 1988 when we opened the Y’s Owls’ Child Care Center. In September 2003, we relocated to our current location on Horsehill Rd in Cedar Knolls, next to the YMCA building. At that time, we were re-named the Richard. F. Blake Children’s Center.  We are licensed to care for 210 children.
